The launch of the wonderful 82 stories in Stories from 2030 took place in Glasgow on the side of the COP26 climate conference and was followed up with events in London and in the town where I grew up, Ryde, Isle of Wight.
Many of the storytellers turned up in person to tell their stories and explain why they wrote them and we had a fascinating and diverse audience at each event. Those that had been campaigning for decades but found this a new and different way to engage, those that were hearing the stories for the first time and many other friends, family and colleagues.
Overall, it was a great way to launch the book and now for the hard work of gathering and sharing stories - please submit yours on this website.
As the COVID restrictions ease, we will be holding storytelling events around Australia in early 2022 and will update details here and through the distribution list. I hope to see you there!
